Handmade felt wallet - SOLD

This auction is for a handmade wallet - made in red felt with fabric-lined pockets on the inside.

This was made and donated by Olga who used to be my textiles tutor - she taught me spinning and weaving, and some felt-making. She has been having a clear out recently and we're just delighted to have some of her work and stores for auction here on made4aid.

The wallet is made of red felt, with tape around the corners to strengthen and keep it neat. There is multi-coloured decorative stitching on the top.

Inside there is a generous notes/receipts pocket

another pocket suitable for cards and or photos, and a zip pocket for coins.

The pockets are all lined with a fine blue and red check cotton fabric.

Olga is an expert textile artist, whether its weaving, spinning, knitting or sewing - this is beautifully made and will be practical and long-lasting. This can be sponged clean, or washed gently in a cool wash.

The size of the wallet is: 5.25 inches / 13cm wide and 3.75inches / 9.5cm deep when closed and 7.5 / 19cm across when opened out.

The auction begins at 9am on Saturday November 7th and will end at 9am Monday 16th November, New York time. The highest bidder before that time will win.

Bids start at $8 please.

Postage would be: UK - $1.00; Europe - $1.90; Worldwide outside Europe - $2.70.
