This is a bright and roomy shoulder bag, perfect for the beach or a picnic - with long straps to throw over your shoulder in a summery/holiday sort of way.
The handles are strong, layered cotton strips embellished and reinforced with (unused) red boot-laces.
The bag was made from a hand-woven table-runner which is white cotton, a close evenweave, with a supplementary weft pattern in red yarn and with a tassel fringe.

This is washable - a gentle machine-wash. It has a little pocket inside which buttons shut to keep your bits and bobs safe.
The dimensions of the bag are: 19.5 inches/50cm deep; the top measures about 32 inches/81cm around; the base is about 8 inches/20cm by 7 inches/19cm and the handles are 41.5inches/105cm.
