Wool & mohair scarf, hand-woven SOLD

Well, some of us are moving into Autumn now and here we have a gorgeous handwoven scarf in rich warm colours to keep away the chills.

Mandy wove this on a table-top loom - she is such a gifted artist and I love the way she combines colours. This is woven in wool and mohair, with just a very little chenille in the mix - its luxuriously soft - quite fuzzy - and will be warm and cosy.

The weave is a mix of earthy colours like terracotta, mossy green and gold with purple and blue.

It is mostly plain weave with a bit of basket weave varying the texture.
The warp ends are all plaited into a beautiful fringe which really shows off the glowing colours.

The scarf is 50 inches/127cm long (excluding the fringes) and 16 inches/40.5cm wide.
