Dennis the Menace bag - SOLD

This is a fairly large-ish shoulder bag, made in vintage Dennis the Menace fabric.

I don't know how well known this Dennis is, outside the UK - he is not to be confused with Hank Ketcham's US creation. So, if you're unfamiliar with this hero of 1950's, 1960's British kids comic-dom, then click here to be enlightened.

The fabric features Dennis himself doing menacey things with bikes and go-carts, along with his dog Gnasher. Minnie the Minx is also featured, and (with a bit of searching) you can also see Roger the dodger, Ivy the Terrible and Billy Whizz.

The main body of the bag is lined (excluding the sides) also in Dennis fabric and the lining includes two little internal pockets.

The bag fastens shut at the top with a large red vintage button.
Machine washable (cool wash, fairly hot iron).

The bag measures: 14 inches/36 cm across, 15 inches/38cm deep plus a 3.75 inches/9.5cm gusset. The handles are 25.5inches / 65cm long.
This fabric is vintage, not new but its in good clean condition - some very minor fading but almost as good as new. The lining gives the bag extra strength and the handles are reinforced with interfacing inside.

Bidding for this item starts at $18.00 (US) please.
Postage would be: UK - $1.50; Europe - $2.80; Worldwide outside Europe - $4.50.
