vintage tea cosy - SOLD

This little vintage tea cosy was bought in a charity (= thrift = opp) shop in Bexhill-on-sea, on England's south coast. So it has already contributed to charity and now, if you buy it, it will make a further contribution to charity.

It is hand-knitted in a classic vintage style in wool (or a mixed yarn) in turquoise and pink. The outside is as good as new - on the inside there is some very slight marking.

Here it is, modelled by a couple of tea pots, short and stout, each with a handle and a spout.

so, when you hear the tea cups hear me shout, "pick me up and pour me out" ....

The first 2 of these tea pots will "do" a couple of decent-sized mugs of tea, or 3-4 tea-cups - around 1.5 pints capacity. The 3rd is larger and it was a slight stretch to get the tea-cosy on the pot. But doesn't it look nice?

The tea cosy is about 6.5 inches/16.5cm measured from top to bottom edge.
