This is a bright and roomy shoulder bag, perfect for the beach or a picnic - with long straps to throw over your shoulder in a summery/holiday sort of way.

The bag was made from a hand-woven table-runner which is white cotton, a close evenweave, with a supplementary weft pattern in red yarn and with a tassel fringe.

The handles are strong, layered cotton strips embellished and reinforced with (unused) red boot-laces.

This is washable - a gentle machine-wash. It has a little pocket inside which buttons shut to keep your bits and bobs safe.

The dimensions of the bag are: 19.5 inches/50cm deep; the top measures about 32 inches/81cm around; the base is about 8 inches/20cm by 7 inches/19cm and the handles are 41.5inches/105cm.

We'd like to start bidding on this bag at £12

Postage would be: UK - £2.00; Europe - £2.30; Rest of the world - £3.80. Postage is free on items which sell for over £50.00.

The auction begins at 09.30 , Saturday 4th July 2009 and will end at 09.30 , Thursday 9th July London time. The highest bidder before that time will win.
